The Charge of the Knights is Saturday, May 18, 2019 1 Mile Fun Run 5:45pm; 5K Start 6:00pm Packet pickup is Friday, May 17, 2019 from 5pm - 8pm and Saturday starting at 3:30pm.
The Charge of the Knights starts and ends behind Ss. Peter and Paul School (5480 Main St., Williamsville, NY 14221) on Glen Ave. The race is conveniently located in a central location from both the southtowns and northtowns. Travel times vary:
  • From Buffalo, NY: 16 minutes
  • From Cheektowaga, NY: 10 minutes
  • From Clarence, NY: 16 minutes
  • From East Aurora, NY: 29 minutes
  • From Getzville, NY: 10 minutes

Race bags can be picked up Friday, May 17 from 5pm to 8pm or Saturday, May 18 (race day) from 3:00pm until race time (5:45pm - 1 mile fun run, 6:00pm - 5K) at Ss. Peter and Paul School (5480 Main St., Williamsville, NY 14221).
Yes, but you must have their ID.
All runners are required to wear our official race bibs in order to run in the race and cross the finish line. Those without bibs will be asked to exit the race and/or leave the party as we have no way of knowing if you paid to attend. Your race bib or wristband (guests) must be kept on at all times or you may be asked to leave by security or police.
Family and friends are welcome to watch you finish the race at the finish line on Glen Ave. However, please note that this is NOT an open party and charge $20 per guest have access to the entertainment, food and drinks at the post race party. Drinks and food will be served to guests with a race bib or a purchased wristband.
Yes, if you plan on participating in the event, you will need to purchase registration to be on the course. If you or a guest only plan to attend the post race party, the cost is $20.00. If your child (under 16) is not running/walking- they are free with a paid adult.
There is parking along Main Street and along many side streets surrounding Ss. Peter and Paul School. There is also a village parking lot across Main St, behind the firehall at the entrance of Island Park. A map can be found here.
Strollers are allowed on the course; however, we ask that you start at the back of the lineup. For safety reasons, we do not allow pets or bicycles on our course.
As a charitable event and due to the complications in processing such transaction with an outside vendor, we do not issue refunds of any kind. As a paid participant you will still be entitled to your receive your race packet and shirt, which can be picked up during the scheduled packet pickup times.
